The Event

The Subterranean Rhythm & Blues (“STRAB”) experience started in 2003 when a group of scuba divers decided to add some live music to one of their weekends in Ponta Malongane, in the south of Mozambique. It was initially held in August and was known as “The Birthday Bash”.

Ponta Malongane

Situated in southern Mozambique, just 15 km north of the South African border, Ponta Malongane is best known for its supreme diving sites and excellent fishing. A place everybody will enjoy. Its tranquil beaches and relaxed atmosphere will ensure that you will return, year after year.
